Hiring: Senior Environmental Specialist, Multimedia Company: Venture Global LNG Location: Cameron, LA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 13:26:30 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio About the job Experience: •8+ years in industrial facilities as a water/waste environmental professional Required Skills: •Make regulatory waste determinations and prepare waste profiles for all wastes generated at the CP2 site, including obtaining representative samples and laboratory analysis, as needed. •Ensure satellite and central accumulation areas for hazardous wastes are managed in compliance with RCRA and LDEQ regulations. •Ensure used oil is managed in compliance with RCRA and LDEQ regulations. •Ensure solid waste is managed in compliance with LDEQ regulations. •Conduct inspections of all waste management areas at the facility including contractor-generated waste management activities. •Schedule off-site transfers of wastes and used oil including preparing uniform hazardous waste manifests, DOT hazardous materials shipping papers, and other required waste management documents. •Prepare required reports and other documents to LDEQ and USEPA. •Maintain records required to demonstrate compliance with applicable waste management regulations. Qualifications: •Demonstrated knowledge of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, LDEQ hazardous waste regulations. •Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing. •Must be able to work in hot and humid environments, outdoors and lift 50 pounds. •Computer knowledge including Apple Mac, Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project & PowerPoint. •Job is performed in an industrial plant environment. •Subject to drug & alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Venture Global LNG.
