Qualifications: •This Position Requires the Following Skills and Attributes •Expert ability to architect, implement, and support highly available, resilient, and secure enterprise database platforms, including High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions. •Strong proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux-based environments in support of enterprise database infrastructure. •Extensive experience managing multiple relational database management systems (RDBMS), including Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and IBM Db2 in complex enterprise environments. •Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL technologies, encompassing administration, performance optimization, security, HA/DR, and cloud migration initiatives. •Comprehensive expertise in enterprise applications, distributed systems, web-based architectures, and database services supporting mission-critical workloads. •Expert knowledge of relational database design, data modeling, normalization, and enterprise data architecture best practices. •Proven experience creating and maintaining logical and physical data models using Entity Relationship (ER) modeling tools and methodologies. •Hands-on experience implementing and supporting SQL Server clustering, replication technologies, log shipping, and Always On Availability Groups. •In-depth knowledge of database security principles, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, auditing, compliance, and security hardening.
