Hiring: Senior Engineer, Design & Modeling - Harness Company: Beehive Industries Location: Englewood, CO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:18:29 Target Skills & Keywords : Aerospace Engineering, AutoCAD, CAD, Configuration Management, Security Clearance, Siemens NX, Systems Engineering, Systems Integration About the job Experience: •Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience Required Skills: •Assist with design and development of electrical harnesses, controls hardware, and related accessory components from concept through production •Develop complete harness design definitions including 3D routing models, 2D drawings, wiring diagrams, pinout documentation, and electronic design data •Own wire harness routing designs and flattened harness drawings using Siemens NX, Cameo, or similar engineering design tools •Define and select appropriate electrical components including connectors, cables, wires, shielding, backshells, and support hardware based on technical and environmental requirements •Create and maintain engineering documentation including interface control drawings, engineering change requests, configuration data, and lifecycle records •Partner cross-functionally with Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other Integrated Product Teams to resolve technical challenges and support design reviews •Analyze harness designs for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, cost, weight, robustness, and system integration requirements •Support electrical system integration, fault management, test, and verification activities throughout the product lifecycle Qualifications: •Operational familiarity with aerospace standards including RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 •If this sounds like you, please submit an application with your resume.
