Develops and implements standard accounting, analysis and reporting procedures. Safeguards all assets and company funds. •Lead and oversee coordinating the accurate preparation and distribution of the property’s budget and financial reporting. •Continuously monitors, analyzes and reports on the financial performance of the property including key metrics, forecasting, labor effectiveness and capital projects. Issues financial and operating reports. •Prepares capital and operating plans and evaluates the results of the operation. •Forecasts, analyzes and utilizes financial information to advise management on financial matters and the development of organization plans and strategies. •Reviews financial activities with Vice President, General Manager, Directors, and Managers as necessary. Responsible for financial reporting to Churchill Downs Incorporated. Qualifications: •Management abilities demonstrated in effectively managing finance operations. •Excellent analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. •Strong leadership and management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading diverse teams. •Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior and executive management required. •Adherence to Code of Conduct and all Calder Casino policies and procedures. •Maintain and promote our business strategy. •Maintain an open-door policy for Team Members to allow open communication. •Strong oral and written communications. •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required. •Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
