Hiring: Senior Data Scientist Company: Capstone Research Corporation Location: Huntsville, AL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:27:18 Target Skills & Keywords : AI, Agile, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, Linux, MATLAB, Machine Learning, MySQL, Python, RAG, SIEM, SQL, SQL Server, Security Clearance, Systems Engineering About the job Required Skills: •Develop and maintain scalable RAG pipelines that integrate vector search, retrieval systems, and cyber domain‑specific information sources. •Ensure models can process large volumes of logs, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and behavioral telemetry to predict emerging cyber risks. •Continuously refine embeddings, indexing strategies, and retrieval mechanisms for accuracy, latency, and completeness. •Design, develop, and execute cyber analysis and assessment plans, procedures, and analytical methodologies for DoW programs. •Develop automated analysis tools using MATLAB, Python, and related scripting languages to process, analyze, and visualize large volumes of cyber and system performance data. •Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports that communicate test results, operational effectiveness, and technical findings to government stakeholders. •Analyze system logs, network traffic, telemetry, and sensor data to identify trends, anomalies, and indicators of cyber threats. •Partner cross-functionally with software developers, systems engineers, cyber engineers, and government customers to define developmental assessment objectives and validate system performance. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. •Equivalent combinations of education, military experience, and directly relevant professional experience will be considered. •TS/SCI security clearance or current SCI eligibility. •Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Systems Engineering, or a related field. •Operational familiarity with offensive and defensive cyber operations concepts. •Knowledge of cloud computing environments and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). •Operational familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or advanced statistical modeling techniques. •Professional certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, GIAC, GSEC, or related cybersecurity certifications.
