Hiring: Senior Data Center Technician Company: Conduent Location: Somerset, NJ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 13:13:07 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Airflow, Rails, ServiceNow About the job Experience: •10+ years of data center or infrastructure deployment experience Required Skills: •Person in this role is expected to rigorously follow accepted Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), current ASHRAE and TIA Data Center Standards and Best Practices •Point-in-time accuracy of all DC Assets, and asset tracking •Monitor and maintain data center environmental systems (power, cooling, rack management, connectivity) to ensure consistent uptime •Respond promptly to incident tickets and change requests to meet SLA and uptime commitments •Rack, stack, and install rack-mounted and blade servers, storage arrays, network equipment and related hardware •Perform hardware provisioning, including rails, cable arms, power distribution, network cabling, and labeling •Execute server lifecycle tasks: installation, upgrade, relocation, decommissioning •Validate installations against design standards, rack elevations, and engineering diagrams Qualifications: •5–10+ years of data center or infrastructure deployment experience •Server hardware •Structured cabling systems (copper & fiber) •Proven expertise in physical layer troubleshooting (Layer 1) •Operational familiarity with ITSM systems (ServiceNow preferred) Compensation: •$85,894 - $100,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
