Hiring: Senior Consultant - 173404 Company: Zachary Piper Solutions Location: Washington, DC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 01:56:55 Target Skills & Keywords : AWS, Agile, REST, SOAP, SQL, Scrum, Secret Clearance About the job Required Skills: •Design, develop, test, and maintain Appian applications, workflows, and business process solutions using record types, interfaces, process models, business rules, and related application components. •Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, user stories, and application designs while contributing to overall solution architecture. •Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Appian and enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP, JDBC, databases, and other integration technologies. •Partner cross-functionally with developers, architects, technical delivery teams, and government stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. •Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, demonstrations, deployments, and ongoing application enhancements. •Support development and delivery efforts within secure federal environments while ensuring compliance with customer security requirements. Qualifications: •Professional experience in software development, application development, and/or technical consulting. •Hands-on experience developing Appian applications, including record types, interfaces, process models, business rules, objects, and related platform components. •Solid functional working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, software development methodologies, and object-oriented programming concepts. •Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and customer stakeholders. •Active Secret clearance or higher preferred; experience supporting DoD or other federal customers, Appian certifications, Appian Data Fabric, AWS, and Security+, CISSP, or related certifications are a plus. •Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law •This job opens for applications on 8/31/2026.
