Continental’s Business Development Group works on highly visible strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, capital investment programs and divestitures. •Performs and leads financial and economic evaluations of acquisition, divestiture, joint venture and other strategic opportunities. •Serves as a financial and commercial representative on multidisciplinary transaction teams. •Develops, reviews and maintains detailed valuation models, cash flow forecasts, investment returns and transaction scenarios. •Integrates engineering, operational, commercial, accounting and market assumptions into comprehensive financial analyses. •Evaluates transaction structures, purchase price allocations, funding requirements and potential financial impacts. •Conducts financial lookbacks and post-investment reviews to compare actual performance against underwriting assumptions. •Performs sensitivity, scenario and risk analyses related to commodity prices, production, capital costs, operating expenses and other key value drivers. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Petroleum Engineering, or a related engineering or business discipline. •Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience. •Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry. •Advanced knowledge with financial reporting, accounting, taxation, commodity pricing or capital markets concepts applicable to upstream oil and gas investments. •An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test. •Master of Business Administration other advanced degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. •International oil and gas experience, including the evaluation of assets, transactions or investment opportunities outside the United States. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. •Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping •Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
