Hiring: Senior Associate, FP&A Company: NorthMark Strategies Location: Stamford, CT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 12:14:33 Target Skills & Keywords : Financial Planning, Microsoft Excel, Workday About the job Experience: •7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Big 4 Advisory, or a related field; at least 3 years in a substantive FP&A capacity •At least 3 years in a substantive FP&A capacity Required Skills: •Own the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for a defined set of internal entities •Build, maintain, and continuously improve 3-statement financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with a high degree of accuracy and auditability •Prepare and develop executive reporting packages and management dashboards that translate financial data into clear, decision-ready narratives •Own variance commentary, headcount trend analysis, and period-over-period performance summaries for senior leadership review •Actively facilitate and support annual operating plan (AOP) process for assigned entities — gathering inputs, preparing consolidations, and ensuring data accuracy in close partnership with the FP&A Manager •Actively facilitate and support 3-year strategic planning process by preparing financial projections, scenario analyses, and sensitivity models for assigned entities as directed •Partner with department heads and functional teams to develop financial analyses that inform operational and investment decisions •Prepare ad hoc financial models, business cases, and investment analyses in support of strategic initiatives Qualifications: •5–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Big 4 Advisory, or a related field; at least 3 years in a substantive FP&A capacity •Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; CPA or MBA a plus •Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; demonstrated ability to independently build and maintain complex 3-statement models •Demonstrated interest in and experience with AI tools, automation, or technology-enabled finance workflows •Proven ability to own FP&A deliverables end-to-end with a high degree of independence •Developing track record of partnering with and presenting to business stakeholders on financial matters •Foundational accounting knowledge; familiarity with month-end close or GL management a plus •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
