Required Skills: •Design, build, and ship features for our native Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, aligned with the product roadmap and our engineering standards. •Own significant areas of the codebase and serve as a key resource for investigating and resolving complex product issues. •Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code within a Clean Architecture, multi-module structure. •Identify performance bottlenecks—especially around video playback, memory usage, and UI recomposition—and drive solutions. •Mentor other developers through code review, pairing, and technical guidance. •Partner cross-functionally with developers, designers, and product/business managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions. •Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes across our multi-station builds. •Rapidly learn new technologies and adapt to changing business and customer needs. Qualifications: •Applied hands-on capability in Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development. •Solid understanding of app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and separation of concerns. •Proficient with Git and code versioning workflows. •Understanding of design principles behind scalable, maintainable applications. •Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude. •Operational familiarity with feature flagging (e.g., LaunchDarkly) and A/B testing. •Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps a plus).
