The role owns global payroll execution, benefits administration, HRIS data integrity, and the transaction processing that supports every stage of the employee lifecycle. •VanEck runs payroll across eleven countries and multiple legal entities on a fast cycle, and the output of this team is visible to every employee and to the leaders who rely on people data to run their businesses. Accuracy here is not a back-office detail. It is how employees experience the firm and how leaders make decisions. •The person in this seat works directly with employees, managers, Finance, external payroll providers, and brokers. HR Operations is being built out as a distinct function, so the role carries real ownership from the start and room to take on more as the function grows. •Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. •HRIS and Data Management •Serve as a primary administrator for UKG, maintaining accurate records for new hires, terminations, compensation changes, transfers, promotions, and personal data updates. •Build and maintain standard and ad hoc reports for HR, Finance, and business leaders. •Serve as the primary administrator for UKG Workforce Management, owning Time and Attendance configuration, employee profile updates, and the buildout of additional plans and policies as the function grows. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. •Three to five years of payroll processing, HR operations, or HR administration experience. •Solid functional working knowledge of US multi-state payroll, wage and hour rules, and payroll tax fundamentals. •Applied hands-on capability in an HRIS or payroll platform. UKG Pro is strongly preferred. •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliation of large data sets. •Demonstrated accuracy under deadline pressure and a high standard for data integrity. •Sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive employee information. •Clear and direct written and verbal communication with employees at every level. •Demonstrated capacity to manage several recurring deadlines at once and to reprioritize as the business changes. •International or multi-entity payroll exposure, particularly through ADP Streamline or a comparable aggregator.
