Required Skills: •The Senior Accountant will support the accounting operations of a managed services organization providing financial and accounting services to a growing personal injury law firm. This role will be responsible for key month-end close activities, account reconciliations, IOLTA reconciliations, and financial reporting support. •The Senior Accountant will also play an important role in supporting the Accounting Department's increased workload associated with recent and future acquisitions. •Perform assigned month-end close activities and ensure deadlines are consistently met. •Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries. •Perform account analysis and investigate unusual or unexpected activity. •Assist with accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany activity, and other close-related activities. •Assist with preparation and review of monthly financial statements and management reporting. •Identify and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
