Experience in government contracting, Costpoint, manufacturing, aerospace or defense is highly desirable. •Perform daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cost accounting activities; and provide hands-on support during periods of peak activity or staff absences. •Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements. •Prepare 13-week cash forecast, providing financial input regarding payment timing and adjustments to support effective cash-flow management. •Coordinate the month-end closing process, ensuring timely completion of accounting and financial reporting activities. •Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance prior to approval. •Actively facilitate and support VP Finance and in the preparation of budgets and indirect rate projections. •Provide support related to annual financial audits, preparation of provisional billing rates and other auditor inquiries, as needed.
