Required Skills: •The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with strong technical accounting skills who either holds an active CPA license or is actively pursuing CPA licensure. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and interested in taking on increasing responsibility within the accounting function. •Responsibilities •Manage and perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities. •Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. •Lead or support the month-end and year-end close processes. •Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances and unusual transactions. •Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and other accounting adjustments. •Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash accounting activities as needed. •Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. •Ensure compliance with GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls. •Support external audits, tax filings, and other financial reporting requirements. •Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and controls. •Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards. •Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for management and external stakeholders. •Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting team members. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. •CPA license preferred, or actively pursuing CPA licensure with a demonstrated plan to complete the requirements. •4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably including public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience. •Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles. •Experience with month-end and year-end close processes. •Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting/ERP systems. •Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. •High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. •Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •CPA / CPA Track Requirement •Active CPA license; or •CPA candidate who has completed or is completing the applicable education requirements and is actively preparing for or taking the CPA examination; or •Demonstrated commitment and eligibility to pursue CPA licensure within a reasonable timeframe. •Preferred Skills Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
