Required Skills: •The prevention of diversion of Schedule I through V pharmaceutical grade narcotics and list one precursor chemicals •The protection of the DEA Registrations by following proscribed DEA Rules and Regulations •The handling of various sensitive information/situations that relates to company property, employees, incidents, and investigations. •Integral to emergency responses including chemical, medical, fire and weather emergencies •Point of contact and coordination with Police and Fire Departments in emergencies •Issuing visitors / contractor badges and ensuring that they are on the approved list to enter the site. •Control Plant Access & Property of all Employees, Contractors, & Visitors to the site. •Communication and dispatch center for Environmental, Safety, Security, Maintenance and Manufacturing for all plant activities Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to be approved as an Armed & Licensed Security Officer/Courier by Watchmen’s Division of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. •Graduate of Accredited Law Enforcement Academy. •Security Officers/Guards report directly to the Security Supervisor and Head of Global Security. •The hourly rate of pay is $35.03 per the CBA. •Must be flexible and responsive to the demands of the business environment as well as the potential security risks to manufacturing plants in the U.S. Working hours are 12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights on 4 day rotations. •Overtime requirements can be extensive at times. •Must be willing and able to wear PPE including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, or equipment that may be required. •The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
