Must be able to work all shifts. •Ensure the physical security of buildings and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment. Maintain log of findings and corrective action taken. •Monitor and direct urinalyses and Breathalyzer as required. •Assist in transporting ill or injured students as required. •Respond to fire alarms, take necessary steps to report fires, assist in suppressing fires, and reset fire alarm equipment. •Operate passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/or packages. Ensure adherence to established schedules. •Ensure proper student/visitor checkout and procedures are followed. Qualifications: •High school diploma or general education degree (GED). •One (1) year experience with an organized security department, law enforcement agency, or experience with security duties. •Successfully pass background check and drug test required on the contract. •Current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. •Previous experience in law enforcement. •Training with an organized security department. Compensation: •Retirement Plan: Eligible to participate in company 401(k) with Company matching after 1 year •1 year Vacation: Minimum of ten days per year.
