Required Skills: •The Scientist II will support process chemistry and manufacturing activities through analytical method development, validation, transfer, and sample testing in compliance with all applicable guidelines. Will also solve moderate complexity analytical development issues for assigned projects and/or initiatives. •Demonstrate expertise in the core analytical laboratory skills, support development and/or scale up of chemical processes in assigned projects. •Demonstrate and apply sound understanding of the application of all available analytical tools and techniques. •Design and execute core experiments, interpret results, and plan additional experiments in a timely manner to solve assigned problems of moderate complexity. More complex problems will require additional guidance from a scientific supervisor/line manager. •Review experimental data, notebooks, and instrument qualification protocols/reports. •System ownership of equipment and instrumentation, including supporting qualification activities. Participate in software validation. •Support departmental or site audits, as required. •Follow all policies governing the business activities, key internal business practices, and external regulations governing the role.
