ORBIS America, Inc. - Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

Hiring: SAP EWM Consultant Company: ORBIS America, Inc. Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:02:56 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : ABAP, Embedded Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, SAP, Systems Design About the job Experience: •German and/or Spanish language skills •Travel to client sites is part of consulting life — typically 30–40%, though it depends on our customers’ needs. Required Skills: •Analyze and map warehouse and logistics processes: inbound and outbound processing, internal movements, physical inventory, and RF-guided execution. •Run workshops with client logistics teams — translating the physical reality of a warehouse into a system design its operators will actually accept. •Design and configure SAP EWM (embedded in S/4HANA): storage types and activity areas, warehouse tasks and orders, wave management, and the RF framework. •Model the warehouse in the system — storage bins and bin structures, staging areas, and work centers — and design the putaway and slotting strategies that decide where every pallet lands. •Design picking, packing, and shipping: pick-path logic, handling-unit management, packing specifications, and the outbound handoff to carriers and transportation. •Configure production supply for discrete manufacturers — staging and replenishing components to the line, where EWM meets PP and the shop floor. •Ensure seamless integration of EWM with MM, PP, and SD to support end-to-end supply chain visibility and process alignment. •Design and build the RF and print layer — mobile scanning workflows, screen logic, and barcode/label printing — that directly supports day-to-day warehouse operations. Qualifications: •3+ years of SAP EWM experience — or strong WM experience with a deliberate move to EWM — including at least one full implementation. •A real understanding of physical logistics in manufacturing: how goods actually move, and why warehouse staff ignore systems that were designed without them. •Strong, proactive communication across functional teams, customers, and partners. •A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, computer science, business, or a related field or equivalent experience. •High degree of professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and resourcefulness, with the ability to independently navigate situations where established processes or guidance may be limited. •Active military, transitioning service members, and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. •Material Flow System (MFS) or warehouse automation exposure •SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP EWM (C_EWM_2020 or equivalent) Compensation: •$95,000 - $140,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
