Hiring: Sales Associate Company: Liberty Location: Newark, OH Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:45:56 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Project Management About the job Required Skills: •Create and process quotes, sales orders, rental orders, purchase orders, pick tickets, and delivery tickets with accuracy and timeliness. •Source equipment and materials from vendors, obtain competitive pricing, and verify costs to ensure value and budget compliance. •Coordinate short-term equipment rentals and project equipment deliveries to support operational and project requirements. •Align onsite rental client purchase orders with vendor orders and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and complete. •Communicate delivery schedules, order status updates, and equipment availability to onsite rental clients and internal stakeholders. •Partner cross-functionally with vendors, project teams, and operations personnel to ensure timely fulfillment of equipment and material needs. •Track and monitor orders from placement through delivery, resolving issues related to availability, pricing, or scheduling. •Develop and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to support efficient procurement and competitive pricing. Qualifications: •High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. •Minimum of one (1) year of technical competency in warehouse management, planning, logistics, or related operations; construction industry experience preferred. •Knowledge of building material costs, freight, supplier networks, and construction equipment categories. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and experience utilizing ERP or purchasing systems. •Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. •Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. •Strategic and creative thinker who demonstrates integrity, leadership, and project management capabilities. •Demonstrated capacity to build effective relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. •Demonstrated commitment to Liberty's Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism, and Caring. •Construction jobsite and warehouse conditions, which include exposure to high temperatures; cool/cold temperatures; weather conditions, and loud noises.
