This role supports advertising campaigns across radio, podcasts, streaming, and digital platforms and provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the business side of media and public radio. •Sales Assistants play a key role in supporting revenue-generating activities throughout the sponsorship sales cycle. Working closely with Sales, Sales Marketing, Ad Operations, and other internal stakeholders, this role helps ensure campaigns are planned, executed, and delivered successfully while maintaining a high level of client service. •This role is suited for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and process-driven, and interested in building a career in media planning, sales operations, advertising strategy, or digital media. •Support revenue-generating activities across the sponsorship sales cycle •Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders •Maintain accurate records and documentation •Assist with coordinating tasks, tracking deliverables, and managing timelines across multiple campaigns and initiatives •Identify and escalate issues, missing information, or process bottlenecks that could impact campaign success Qualifications: •1–2 years of professional office, administrative, client service, or coordination experience preferred •Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, responsive, and solutions-oriented approach •Demonstrated capacity to communicate professionally and confidently with clients and colleagues •High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and ability to work collaboratively across teams •Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to evolving workflows •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word •Resourceful, proactive, and calm under pressure when managing shifting priorities •Interest in media, advertising, podcasts, radio, digital platforms, or client service/account coordination careers preferred •This individual is expected to work onsite at WNYC’s New York City office at least 2 days a week.
