Monitor effectiveness and oversee corrective/improvement efforts. •Approximately 90% of efforts are spent on activities that will lead to the prevention of accidents •Approximately 10% of efforts are spent on activities that will lead to 100% compliance with applicable regulations •Develop and mobilize an effective safety team comprised of exempt and non-exempt associates •Conduct regular inspections, process evaluations, and observations to validate strategy effectiveness •Provide location leadership with evaluation/inspection results along with recommendations for solutions via Gensuite Audit Tracking System •Track findings to completion and involve local leadership when progress towards completion stalls or falls behind schedule Qualifications: •Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. •Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required •Complete Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required •The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
