Hiring: Safety Manager Company: Egan Company Location: Champlin, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:04:23 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office, React, Risk Management About the job Required Skills: •Align and implement Egan Company Health and Safety programs and loss prevention initiatives among multiple business groups and construction projects. •Assist, plan, and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). •Advise operations leadership on safety performance; strengths and opportunities for improvement. •Assist in the development, evaluation, and upgrading of safety programs. •Assist and maintain required reports and records to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements. •Engage and partner with Project Teams to facilitate planning and execution of our work safely. •Conduct post-incident investigations and prepare report(s) identifying possible causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior leadership. •Communicate and collaborate with Operations leadership with respect to safety and loss prevention goals, objectives, and key performance indicators. Qualifications: •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field. •Possessing a CSP or ASP certificate will make you stand out for this role. •Five+ years experience in safety-related field, construction industry preferred. •Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, as the role will require travel to various sites on a regular basis. Company vehicle or Auto Allowance will be provided. •Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA standards with regard to construction. •Demonstrated capacity to train, influence and motivate others. •Proficient in the use of standard office computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite. •Knowledge of the construction industry. •Demonstrated capacity to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, managers, clients, customers, and other stakeholders. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate with other employees in English sufficiently to understand and be easily understood.
