Required Skills: •The SHE Manager partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Human Resources, and Production leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries, ensure environmental compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. •This position will manage the health and safety team and oversee the safety, health and environmental programs at the Alexandria, LA, and Newton Falls, OH facilities. •Safety Program Management •Lead and manage all plant safety programs and initiatives. •Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and work instructions. •Promote a proactive safety culture focused on injury prevention and employee engagement. •Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments throughout the facility. •Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety industrial Hygiene or related field •Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. •Strong working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations •Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and industrial safety requirements •Demonstrated capacity to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations. •Strong leadership, communication, and employee engagement skills •Strong organizational and project management skills •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems •Demonstrated capacity to influence all levels of the organization and drive accountability. •Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
