Hiring: Safety Coordinator Company: James Hardie Location: Waxahachie, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 10:32:25 About the job Experience: •Minimum 3-5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment required. Required Skills: •Manage EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Compliance Programs •Actively facilitate and support department's daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual EHS performance metrics and reporting requirements. •Assist in administering, monitoring, and improving key EHS processes, audits, reports, and compliance programs. •Analyze EHS data and develop dashboards, graphs, reports, and presentations to identify trends and drive proactive decision-making. •Coach employees and supervisors on EHS program requirements and best practices. •Assist in developing action plans and improvement initiatives based on KPI performance and audit results. •Incident Reporting, Investigation, and Corrective Action Management •Review incident reports for quality, accuracy, completeness, and proper root cause identification. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED required. •Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Degree must be from an accredited institution. •Solid functional working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable environmental regulations. •In-depth knowledge of incident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis techniques. •Demonstrated capacity to conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, audits, inspections, and behavioral observations. •Demonstrated capacity to develop, deliver, and facilitate effective safety training programs. •Knowledge of environmental permitting, recordkeeping, reporting requirements, and compliance programs preferred. •Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, mentor, and coach employees and supervisors on EHS best practices. •Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. •Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
