Hiring: Safety Coordinator Company: Miller Electric Company Location: Richmond, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:49:20 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Required Skills: •Miller Electric Company has an immediate need for Safety Coordinator's in Richmond, VA. •Partner cross-functionally with teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards, policies, and/or procedures. •Provides technical expertise to managers and supervisors in establishing techniques and procedures for the elimination or control of unsafe behaviors, environments, and hazards. •Plans and conducts periodic and unscheduled surveys and inspections of Miller Electric Company projects. •Conduct hazard analyses of project operations •Assist in the update and maintenance of the company safety manual •Develop and conduct risk assessments and Job Task Analyses for relevant tasks •Coordinates with operating activities to provide safety training and ensures safety awareness throughout Miller Electric Company. Qualifications: •BCSP certification STS-C (Safety Trained Supervisor or higher) •First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training •NFPA 70E and LOTO experience •A strong supporter of collaboration in an effort to gather the best solutions •Demonstrated capacity to address and train groups of 25-30 •Demonstrated capacity to adapt to a changing work environment •Demonstrated capacity to act independently with minimal daily direction •Demonstrated capacity to work closely with all levels of Miller Electric Company •Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
