Required Skills: •Demonstrated capacity to calculate balancing tolerance at each balancing plane in accordance to API-541 or ISO 1940 standards. •Efficiently perform all duties relative to balancing rotors, fans, armatures, sheave assemblies, impellers, thrust blocks, etc. Operate the balance machine and related equipment. •The Balance Operator produces critical parts for the Large Motor product line and reports directly to the Production Supervisor •Ensure that all projects are completed safely, correctly and meet or surpass all customer expectations. Follow and promote all safety and quality directives in support of the company's commitment to be the industry’s premier service provider to our clients. •Set up balance machine; locate unbalance. Balance by either adding or removing metal. •Record all required information to tollgate •Recognize improper machine and tool performance. •Unit weigh, cut drill, and tap individual balance weights.
