Required Skills: •Design and develop robotic cells and end-of-arm tooling for palletizing, dispensing, and welding applications. •Program industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB and similar) to implement motion sequences, tool paths, and process logic. •Architect and integrate machine vision systems: camera selection, lensing, lighting, calibration, and image processing workflows. •Develop and maintain vision-to-robot interfaces and ensure robust part detection, pose estimation, and quality inspection. •Partner cross-functionally with controls engineers to integrate PLCs, I/O, safety systems, and HMI for seamless cell operation. •Perform system commissioning, on-site installation, and start-up support; troubleshoot and optimize performance in production environments. •Create and maintain technical documentation: design drawings, control schematics, software listings, calibration procedures, and validation reports. •Interface directly with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to define requirements, validate solutions, and implement continuous improvement. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. •Proven experience programming Fanuc and ABB robots; familiarity with their controllers, motion programming languages, and tool/robot calibration. •Strong background in machine vision system architecture: camera selection, optics, illumination, calibration, and integration with robot controllers. •Knowledge of welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, spot welding) and dispensing systems, including process control and fixturing. •Understanding of control systems and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus) and PLC integration. •Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot on-site, and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. •Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning as required.
