Required Skills: •A leading real estate firm is seeking a Risk Management Associate or Senior Associate to support the development and oversight of a leading real estate investment firm's risk management and insurance programs. Reporting to the Vice President of Risk Management & Insurance •, this individual will join a team responsible for assessing, mitigating, and managing risk across a diverse real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on professional with a strong understanding of insurance, claims management, and risk mitigation. •Actively facilitate and support implementation and execution of enterprise-wide risk management initiatives across multiple business lines. •Manage and maintain knowledge of claims processes across various insurance coverages, including property, general liability, professional liability, and builder's risk. •Receive and process claim notices, liens, lawsuits, and other claim-related documentation. •Partner with internal and external legal counsel to develop effective and cost-efficient litigation strategies. •Serve as a liaison between insurance carriers, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders throughout the claims and litigation process. •Document and communicate claim activity accurately and in a timely manner to support effective claim resolution and litigation outcomes. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field. •Legal background preferred, with a strong understanding of the litigation process and the ability to provide informed recommendations on claim and litigation strategy. •Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Demonstrated capacity to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
