Hiring: Risk Coordinator Company: The PENTA Building Group Location: Henderson, NV Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 04:05:02 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Project Management, Risk Management About the job Experience: •1–3 years of experience in insurance administration, risk management, claims support, or construction administration preferred. •Basic understanding of commercial insurance concepts (GL, workers' compensation, auto, builder's risk) and familiarity with different project insurance program structures (OCIP, CCIP, SDI, wrap-up, traditional). •Operational familiarity with COI tracking platforms (e.g., myCOI, Certificate Exchange), contractor licensing requirements, and/or claims management systems is a plus. •Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, deadline-driven tasks accurately. •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; ability to learn new software systems quickly. Required Skills: •Insurance Program Enrollment Support •Assist in enrolling new projects into the appropriate insurance program(s), including OCIPs, CCIPs, wrap-up policies, subcontractor default insurance (SDI) programs, and traditional owner/GC-furnished insurance arrangements, as directed. •Prepare and submit subcontractor enrollment paperwork and eligibility documentation to brokers, carriers, or third-party program administrators for the applicable program type. •Assist in setting up or enrolling projects under builder's risk policies, including gathering project values, schedules, and scope details required by brokers or carriers. •Track enrollment status across active projects and flag missing or incomplete submissions, regardless of program type. •Maintain organized project files documenting program participation, exclusions, and related correspondence for each insurance program. •Policy & Certificate of Insurance (COI) Tracking •Maintain the company's insurance policy tracking log across all program types, including renewal dates, coverage limits, and endorsements for general liability, auto, umbrella/excess, and builder's risk policies. Qualifications: •Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
