Hiring: Right of Way Director Company: Bowman Consulting Location: Allentown, PA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:42:07 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Project Management, Quality Assurance About the job Required Skills: •Bowman has an opportunity for a Right of Way Director to join our team in the Northeast U.S. •We are open to candidates who reside anywhere in the Northeast U.S. •Supervise Right of Way department including directing the preparation functions and all personnel decisions. •Leadership and Direction •Receive broad guidance from senior-level management relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. Manage people and processes to ensure effective execution. Review work produced by staff for quality assurance. •Provide oversight and direction of department or business unit including strategy, budgeting, staff, and deliverables. •At The Operational And Company Level •Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clients. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or equivalent industry related Right of Way work experience. •Fifteen or more (15+) years of experience performing all aspects of land, right of way, easement acquisition, title research, or comparable industry related education. •Minimum five (5) years of Right of Way supervisory experience preferred. •Knowledge in all aspects of Right of Way, including project management, acquisition, title, permitting, budgeting, cost forecasting, operation, due diligence, public relations, community outreach and solid understanding of general regulatory, eminent domain, and legal issues. •Demonstrated experience in successfully managing the financial, marketing, human resources, and operational aspects of an engineering department. •Expert computer skills in various Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with database systems. •Satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's license. •Professional real estate license in applicable state or the ability to obtain one within 3 months (90 days) of hire is required. •Are you ready to build a career that makes a lasting impact?
