Hiring: Revenue Analyst Company: AVEVA Location: Lake Forest, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:35:50 Employment Type: Contract / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : CV, Risk Management, SAP, SaaS, Salesforce About the job Experience: •At least three years of revenue accounting experience in software industry; IFRS experience desirable •Strong technical and analytical skills; Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in revenue accounting processes under current revenue recognition for software and SAAS arrangements (“ASC 606”). •Oracle software experience strongly preferred; SAP and salesforce experience desirable •Demonstrated capacity to identify issues and develop/implement/document solutions, procedures, and controls •Demonstrated capacity to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and work under minimum guidance Required Skills: •Review and validate revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15, US GAAP, and company policies. •Review contract assets, contract liabilities, deferred revenue, and related reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. •Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue close activities, including cut-off testing and variance analysis. •Reconcile revenue data between Salesforce, Oracle, and FDW, ensuring completeness and accuracy of reported revenue. •Execute and maintain SOX controls related to revenue recognition, contract accounting, and revenue reporting. •Ensure timely completion of control activities and retention of supporting documentation in compliance with SOX requirements. •Prepare and maintain revenue process documentation, risk and control matrices (RCMs), and audit support schedules. •Support internal and external audits, SOX testing, walkthroughs, and remediation of control deficiencies.
