Required Skills: •These positions must maintain full-time residency in a University housing-owned or housing-affiliated/managed facility. The selected candidates must be available for irregular hours, extended workdays, on-call emergencies, and weekends. •These positions are designated as critical personnel in case of a disaster or critical event, and will be required to remain on campus to assist with emergency situations. •UCF is seeking to fill multiple roles. Candidates for this job posting will be considered for additional vacancies in this department. •Supervise, train, and evaluate graduate and undergraduate student staff through weekly staff meetings, regular one-on-one supervision meetings, as well as performance management and formal accountability processes. •Provide support and appropriate referrals to students regarding their academic, social, and personal wellbeing. Provide expedited outreach and follow-up for students of concern, and mediate interpersonal conflicts as needed. •Design and implement residential engagement initiatives to support student success, well-being, and belonging in accordance with departmental outcomes. •Advise an area council of student leaders in the development of community-building and residential advocacy initiatives. •Serve as a conduct hearing officer/administrator for assigned community, campus security authority, and responsible employee for reporting purposes. Qualifications: •Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, College Student Personnel, Counseling, or a related field. •Demonstrated ability to navigate complex student situations using sound judgment, empathy, and professionalism. •Demonstrated commitment to mentoring, coaching, and developing emerging student leaders. •In addition to your application, please include a resume, cover letter, and contact information for three (3) professional references who are previous or current supervisors. •When applying please have all your documents ready to upload at the same time.
