Hiring: Residence Hall Director Company: University of Florida Location: Gainesville, FL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:23:30 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint About the job Experience: •Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with educational program development, learning outcomes, and assessment •Demonstrated experience with crisis management Required Skills: •Lead and oversee management of assigned residence halls •Coordinate daily workflow and administrative tasks related to the operations of the hall including but not limited to access, maintenance and building service requests, general inspections, and student concerns •Recruit, train, and supervise Resident Assistants and/or Graduate Assistants within area; provide continuing education programming for student staff •Lead and oversee scheduling on-call staff schedule for building for Resident Assistants •Lead and oversee collaborating with various internal units for resident hall opening/closing and intersession •Collaborate and assist with room reassignments, room transfers, verification of room condition forms, damage control systems, and verification of occupancy. •Conduct building and public area facility inspections coordinating with internal units (e.g. Building Services, Maintenance, and Operations teams) to provide clean, safe, and secure spaces as well as maintain general office operations •Lead and oversee maintaining, disseminating and enforcing policies, procedures, and guidelines for Residence Halls; ensure Resident Assistants and Graduate Assistants are following policies, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. •Master's degree in higher education administration, counseling, communications, or other related field Compensation: •Competitive benefits and rewards package Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
