Required Skills: •Actively facilitate and support development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of quality measures. •Actively facilitate and support development of measure specifications. •Specify, oversee, and interpret descriptive and statistical analyses of large, complex datasets. •Prepare and lead technical expert panel discussions to elicit input on measure gaps, specifications and testing results. •Critically evaluate literature in support of measure specifications. •Critically evaluate testing results against CMS’s Consensus-Based Entity evaluation criteria. •Synthesize feedback from across various sources to develop recommendations and improvements for quality measures. •Interpret CMS quality program rules. Qualifications: •PhD in public policy, health policy, public administration, public health (or related field), or nursing, or a Master’s degree in one of these fields with 4+ years of relevant experience. •Exposure to and understanding of CMS’s Measures Management Blueprint and CMS’s Consensus-Based Entity endorsement requirements is preferred, but not required. •Direct experience working with CMS is preferred, but not required.
