Mouse work is central to this role and you perform it with care, rigor, and adherence to approved protocols. •You explicitly wish to use this experience to gain entry into a PhD program and are able to provide a minimum 2-year commitment to build a portfolio of work to support you in that endeavor. •In this position, you will •Utilize a wide array of molecular biology techniques, such as restriction cloning, Gibson assembly, DNA/RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, PCR, qPCR, NGS library preparation, and more. •Perform in vivo experiments in mice, including vector administration, longitudinal monitoring, and collection and processing of blood and tissue samples. •Produce and characterize viral vectors for in vivo delivery.
