Hiring: Reporting and Quality Assurance Associate Company: Trinity Consultants Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 13:52:32 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Quality Assurance About the job Experience: •Approximately three years of experience reviewing, evaluating, or reporting environmental or air quality data preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. •Solid functional working knowledge of Federal and State air quality monitoring requirements and EPA quality assurance practices is beneficial. Required Skills: •Review and validate environmental monitoring data using established procedures and applicable regulatory and project requirements. •Investigate and resolve data quality issues by collaborating with field personnel, technical staff, and project managers. •Maintain complete and organized project records supporting data validation, quality assurance, and reporting activities. •Prepare technical reports, data summaries, memoranda, proposals, and client correspondence related to environmental monitoring and data quality. •Interpret and communicate technical information clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences. •Develop and review tables, figures, and supporting technical materials. •Work collaboratively with project managers, technical staff, and clients throughout the monitoring and reporting process. •Support additional environmental consulting projects such as emissions inventories, air permit calculations, NEPA reviews, and monitoring program development, based on experience and interest. Qualifications: •Primarily computer-based; extended periods of computer work required. •Occasional travel to client facilities, monitoring stations, offices, or training sessions may be required. •Field visits may include walking, standing, climbing stairs or ladders, and working around monitoring equipment. •Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. •Bachelor's degree in environmental science, meteorology, atmospheric science, engineering, technical communications, or a related discipline preferred.
