Hiring: Remote Risk Mitigation Analyst (VA ESOM) Company: Kentro Location: United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 11:14:29 Employment Type: Contract / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Credentialing, Security Clearance, Spark About the job Experience: •5 years of relevant Experience •8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education Required Skills: •Collect contingency plans, system diagrams, inventories, recovery requirements, procedures, and supporting records for review. •Assist with identifying process, staffing, facility, vendor, resource, and technology dependency risks. •Support development of exercise scenarios, questions, participant lists, evaluation criteria, and meeting materials. •Record exercise decisions, observations, supporting evidence, unresolved questions, and assigned actions. •Maintain a risk and corrective action register with owners, priorities, milestones, target dates, evidence, and status. •Interface directly with engineers and system owners to define clear mitigation steps and completion criteria. •Monitor remediation progress and escalate overdue or high-risk actions through established program channels. •Confirm that accepted risks are documented and approved by the appropriate authority. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline •Knowledge of risk assessment, issue management, evidence review, and corrective action tracking. •Demonstrated capacity to read technical plans and diagrams and summarize recovery risks accurately. •Strong analytical, organizational, reporting, and follow-through skills. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with engineers, application owners, and program leaders. •Operational familiarity with NIST contingency planning controls and test, training, and exercise guidance. •Operational familiarity with governance, risk, compliance, or service management platforms. •Background supporting large federal, DoD, or public-sector IT environments. •US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card) •Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •Competitive benefits and rewards package Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
