( This experience must include working either healthcare or data center electrical construction projects.) •3 years Understanding of Workers’ Compensation Required Skills: •Miller Electric Company has an immediate need for a Regional Safety Manager in Richmond, VA. •The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with an electrical contractor on a data center construction project. Compensation Range: $50.00/hr to $60.00/hr •The Regional Safety Manager reports to the Senior Safety Manager . Responsibilities are focused on maintaining the safest possible workplace and OSHA Compliance. The Regional Safety Manager will be hands-on and interact with our field personnel and management team daily. •Partner cross-functionally with teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, standards, policies, and/or procedures. •Provides technical expertise to managers and supervisors in establishing techniques and procedures for the elimination or control of unsafe behaviors, environments, and hazards. •Plans and conducts periodic and unscheduled surveys and inspections of Miller Electric Company projects. •Conduct hazard analyses of project operations •Assist in the update and maintenance of the company safety manual Qualifications: •BCSP credential (CHST or STS-C) •Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing electrical contractor scope of work. ( This experience must include working either healthcare or data center electrical construction projects.) •OSHA 30-hour certification within the past 3 years •A strong supporter of collaboration in an effort to gather the best solutions •Demonstrated capacity to address and train groups of 25-30 •Demonstrated capacity to adapt to a changing work environment •Demonstrated capacity to act independently with minimal daily direction •Demonstrated capacity to work closely with all levels of Miller Electric Company •Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
