Promote a comprehensive understanding of the University’s mission, goals and priorities and secure support for these initiatives. •Interface directly with other members of the University Advancement Services staff to ensure that potential gift prospects are properly researched and assigned, that all solicitations are coordinated and completed, and that donors receive appropriate acknowledgements and recognition. •Where appropriate, transition prospects to the appropriate development officer for major gift cultivation and solicitation. •Performs other duties as assigned. •Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively •Writing skills/techniques (entry level prospect proposals) •Networking/relationship building •Professional & Managerial Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. •Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. •Travel is required for this position. •Demonstrated capacity to work within a CRM •Basic knowledge of fundraising techniques (qualifying, asks, objections, messaging) •Confidence to solicit prospects for entry to mid-level gifts Compensation: •$47,665 - $60,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
