Hiring: Regional Environmental Health Safety Manager Company: Meta Location: Seattle, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-09 17:58:20 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: EHS Management, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, Emergency Response, Industrial Hygiene, Hazardous Chemicals, Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Audits & Inspections, Data Analysis, EHS Training, Stakeholder Collaboration, AI Integration, Semiconductor/Chemical/Life Sciences/Pharma/Manufacturing Experience: - 10+ years of experience in EHS - At least 5 years in a leadership or management role (managing reports directly or indirectly) - Experience with regulatory requirements in Washington - Ability to travel up to 75% regionally to Redmond, Seattle, and Bellevue Required Skills: - Oversee and conduct site assessments, job and task risk assessments, and lead incident investigations - Collaborate with subject matter experts in lasers, hazardous chemicals, industrial hygiene, robotics, and occupational safety - Partner with Safety Engineering for handover of new equipment and facilities - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS laws, regulations, and permits - Develop, maintain, and execute emergency response plans; serve as emergency response coordinator - Drive continuous improvement from incident investigations and corrective actions - Maintain legal registers, risk registers, and environmental impact assessments - Provide metrics and reporting to leadership and stakeholders - Lead risk management: hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions - Champion continuous improvement through audits, inspections, and data analysis - Drive employee engagement and EHS initiatives through communication, training, and leadership involvement - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field - Preferred: Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) - Preferred: Demonstrated collaborator who builds lasting relationships across functions and levels - Preferred: Experience in semiconductor, chemical processing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments - Preferred: Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact - Preferred: Ongoing AI skill development (prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies - Preferred: Professional certifications in Safety, Health, Environment (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazard [Control Manager]) Compensation: - Base pay range: $145,000.00/yr - $205,000.00/yr - Actual pay will be based on skills and experience Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
