Onsite support may be required up to 4 days per week, including additional support for critical deployments or operational issues. •ECS is seeking a Red Hat OpenShift Cloud Engineer to support the development, integration, operation, and sustainment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud solutions for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. •This is an execution focused engineering role for a candidate with practical OpenShift and Kubernetes experience who can independently execute established engineering and operational tasks while collaborating with senior engineers and OpenShift SMEs on complex architecture, migrations, and escalated technical issues. •Deploy, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat OpenShift environments under established architecture, engineering standards, and security requirements. •Support cluster administration including configuration, upgrades, patching, node management, networking, storage, security, monitoring, logging, back-up/recovery, and performance troubleshooting. •Support Kubernetes/OpenShift workload including projects/namespaces, pods, deployments, services, routes/ingress, ConfigMaps, persistent storage, resource limits, and role based access controls. •Support onboarding and migration of customer and vendor/partner applications into OpenShift environment in coordination with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and platform teams.
