Hiring: Recruitment Coordinator and Records Specialist (Administrative Specialist 1, Confidential) Company: New Jersey Courts Location: Trenton, NJ Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 02:19:46 Employment Type: Remote About the job Required Skills: •If another position becomes available within five months of this recruitment’s closing date, the applicant pool from this posting may be used to fill additional vacancies. •Support recruiters throughout the hiring process by scheduling interviews, coordinating skills testing, and preparing interview materials •Prepare and digitize Human Resources records, ensuring accuracy and proper organization across paper and electronic files •Guide new hires through onboarding, including preparing accounts, checklists, and required correspondence •Contribute to unit projects focused on process improvement, standardization, and system implementation •Collect, screen, and maintain confidential candidate and employee records, including background check materials and pre-employment documentation •Deliver training and cross-training to other support staff on recruitment systems and procedures •Provide front office coverage and support, including greeting visitors and candidates and assisting with day-to-day recruitment operations Qualifications: •Three years of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing, handling payments for fees, recording monies received, reconciling balances or accounts and/or scheduling meetings or appointments. •Demonstrated capacity to use a keyboard, no minimum speed. •Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position. •US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations. •Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting. All data received will be kept in strict confidence except to inform the individual of the findings and what action will be taken as a result of this information.
