Hiring: Recruiter & HR Generalist Company: Internet2 Location: Michigan, United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 14:05:44 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Project Management, Zoom About the job Experience: •5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience focused on technical, IT, engineering, and professional roles, with a strong track record of successfully filling complex and hard-to-fill technical roles Required Skills: •Own full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical positions •Partner with Hiring Managers to define hiring needs and recruiting strategies •Source, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates •Understand and communicate benefits, compensation, total rewards and performance management to candidates •Ensure positive applicant, candidate, and employee experiences •Train Hiring Managers via varied platforms such as lunch and learns, zoom meetings, and individual sessions •Own Recruitment Module within the HRIS system while ensuring legal compliance, and adhering to policies and procedures •Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities while working independently Qualifications: •Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, data accuracy, systems proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. •Successfully manages multiple priorities and consistently completes projects and daily responsibilities with accuracy, timeliness, and accountability. •Builds strong relationships through engagement, professionalism, and effective interpersonal skills. •Communicates effectively, collaborates across teams, and follows through on commitments and action items. •Comfortably offers alternative perspectives and evidence-based recommendations to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and drive better business outcomes. •Creates an inclusive and respectful environment by treating all colleagues, candidates, and stakeholders with fairness, dignity, and professionalism. •Effectively partners with hiring managers at all levels, including senior leadership, while exercising sound judgment and maintaining strict confidentiality. •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or related field); or equivalent combination of education and professional experience •Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other sourcing tools to identify and engage qualified candidates •Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Compensation: •$75,000 - $84,400 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
