Hiring: RECREATION SERVICES FIELD SUPERVISOR Company: CenterLight Health System Location: Brooklyn, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:50:12 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : HIPAA, Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •Three to five (3-5) years of experience in Recreation. •Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the elderly •Positive attitude and outlook with the ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment. •Flexibility one weekend to meet deadlines. •A highly motivated and self-driven individual willing to work within a strict deadline environment. Required Skills: •Direct on-site supervision of operations and participant care •Review and on-site observation of programming and scheduling. •Review of attendance logs and site care plans •Ensures contracted alternative care site audits are completed and recommended actions have been adopted. •Reassesses for performance as necessary. •Communicates with contracted alternative care sites regarding grievances and service determination requests. •Provides PACE education to contracted alternative care site staff. •Direct supervision of site level clinical staff. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field required. •Standing – Duration of up to 6 hours a day. •Sitting/Stationary positions – Sedentary position for up to 6-8 hours a day for consecutive hours/periods of time. •Lifting/Push/Pull – Up to 50 pounds of equipment, baggage, supplies, and ability to lift patients safely, using OSHA guidelines, etc. •Bending/Squatting – Have to be able to bend or squat to care for patients safely, use medical supplies, etc. •Stairs/Steps/Walking/Climbing – Must be able to maneuver stairs safely, climb up/down and walk to access work areas. Position requires an individual to be able to travel, walk between sites/locations and work areas throughout the day. •Agility/Fine Motor Skills - Must demonstrate agility and fine motor skills to operate and activate equipment, devices, instruments, and tools (i.e., typing, use of medical supplies, equipment, etc.) •Sight/Visual Requirements – Must be able to visually assess patients, read orders and type/write documentation, etc., accurately. •Cognitive Ability – Must be able to demonstrate good decision-making, reasonableness, cognitive ability, rational processing, and analysis to satisfy essential functions of the job. •Must obtain and maintain a New York City Food Protection Certification within six months of hire. Must maintain certification throughout employment.
