Hiring: Raw Receiving Operator (Crew C) Caldwell, ID Company: Simplot Company Location: Caldwell, ID Job Posted Time: 2026-09-09 17:57:31 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords: Raw Receiving, Food Processing, Agriculture, Equipment Operation, Lift Truck, Fall Protection, Sampling, Sanitation, Safety Compliance, Fluming, Production Operations Experience: • 3+ years related experience and/or training • Understanding of operations and duties in production • Knowledge of Raw Receiving and Transportation requirements • Equipment performance setup, adjustments, calibrations, and alignments Required Skills: • Safely operate sizing equipment • Interpret written instructions regarding proper fluming procedures • Direct trucks into proper bays by matching sample tickets with bay locations • Count, add, and measure in inches for evaluating elimination and re-elimination samples • Communicate orally with team leader, team members, and shift manager • Safely lift up to 50 pounds • Move up and down stairs and ladders • Work in confined areas and on slippery surfaces • Work in varied environments for long periods • Meet fall restraint standards per WAC 296-155-24510 • Lift truck license or ability to obtain • Complete lift truck safety training and maintain certification per WAC 296-24-230 and WAC 296-24-23025 • Complete fall protection training per WAC 296-155-245 through 24525 and WAC 296-24-75005 • Working knowledge of input into a computer system • Resolve and/or repair routine or serious problems, or know when to report to other operators or management Qualifications: • Responsible for unloading raw product into designated bays and bins efficiently, safely, and timely • Pull inspection samples from each truckload per proper procedures • Maintain good housekeeping in the receiving area • Keep even and adequate flow of raw product from receiving bays into the Plant • Control pit water and maintain proper blend system as instructed by team leader • Operate all equipment between bays and Form line bins • Keep rocks cleared from flumes, clean rock traps, and take potatoes from rock take-away belt • Collect and evaluate elimination and re-elimination samples • Ensure sanitation operations meet Company Standards • Attend and participate in training activities • Follow safe work practices and policies to prevent injuries • Comply with Company policies, procedures, and Union Labor Agreement • Interface with team members and support groups in a participative management style • Conduct self professionally and maintain personal appearance standards • Handle additional accountabilities as required by management • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to interact well with all levels of employees • Willing to accept a wide variety of job assignments and work under general direction • No relocation offered • Shift: 6:00pm-6:00am • Travel Required: None Compensation: • $23.94/hourly Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
