Hiring: Raw Material & Packaging Planner Company: Dr. Squatch Location: Brea, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:41:05 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Quality Assurance, SAP, SOAP About the job Experience: •2+ years of experience in materials planning, procurement, or inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment Required Skills: •This role will report to the Operations Planning Sr. Manager. •This is a full-time, on-site role with company benefits based out of our manufacturing facility in Brea, CA. •The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $80,000 - $95,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates. •Develop and maintain raw material forecasts based on production schedules, consumption, and historical usage trends •Determine and continuously adjust reorder points and order quantities for raw materials based on forecasted production needs and supplier-specific lead times •Manage inventory on hand, including maintaining safety stock levels for raw materials + packaging held both at the manufacturing site and off-site warehouse location(s), balancing service-level requirements against carrying cost •Coordinate logistics and inventory transfers between the manufacturing facility and off-site warehouse(s), ensuring materials are repositioned ahead of production needs and transportation is scheduled efficiently •Partner cross-functionally with production planning, procurement, and quality assurance teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience) •Demonstrated capacity to adapt quickly to changing business priorities and adjust in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. •Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities •Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills •Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills, with ability to: collaborate effectively with peers across multiple areas of the business, communicate effectively and efficiently with external partners (suppliers etc.), and ability to efficiently communicate upwards with senior business leaders •Detailed, organized, structured and efficient problem solver, able to quickly identify the most important things to focus on in an environment where things are rapidly changing every day •Able to develop and maintain strong cooperative working relationships within the group and across the organization •Demonstrated excellence using Excel or GSheets to monitor performance •Someone who has high standards, takes ownership, and is invested in the outcome •Someone who proactively help others, stays positive and has a good sense of humor Compensation: •$80,000 - $95,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
