Hiring: Range Safety Specialist Company: Innovative Reasoning, LLC Location: Quantico, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 10:56:28 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Required Skills: •In coordination with the Range Safety Officer, make recommendations to resolve range and safety conflicts for range requests not covered by the installation range SOP. •Conduct a semiannual review of RFMSS facility-to-facility, facility-to-event, facility-to-ammunition, and facility-to-environment conflicts against the installation range SOP. •Review all updates to the Installation Range SOP and recommend the best way to reflect these changes in RFMSS administration tables. •In coordination with the Range Safety Officer, develop a range safety inspection schedule supporting the range safety inspection plan and deliver the schedule to the Range Safety Officer for approval. •Inspect ranges at each installation for safety violations and verify all ranges are in working condition in accordance with the installation range SOP. •Deliver range incident reports from the RFMSS ad-hoc reports module. •Work range and safety conflicts directly with using units via RFMSS-MC to adjust schedules, and input the correct Surface Danger Zone/Weapons Danger Zone (SDZ/WDZ) data for each request. •Conduct a daily gate control access sheet to support Range Control staff in opening and closing gates for the next day's training.
