When not assisting the Railroad Technician the position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, labeling stock, and non-stock materials, and completing any other tasks related to Shipping and Receiving. •Assist the Railroad Technician in the routing of all inbound rail shipments form the switching railroad into the Crockett Plant's rail yard •Unhook and hook back railcars during switching •Able to pull and hook up hoses to railcars •Able to spot cars in correct locations •Ensures all housekeeping standards are followed daily in the rail yard •Recognizes, retains and protects confidential information, specifically with customer information pertaining to pricing, formulations, business relationships and product characteristics •Attends plant safety meetings and adheres to safety policies and procedures Qualifications: •Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work process, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment •Must be able to read and follow manuals and procedures •Must be able to maintain a clean and safe workspace •Must be dependable and have excellent attendance •Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed, up to every other weekend •Must be able to pass a forklift test •Must be able to pass a respirator fit test •Attendance is an essential function of the job •Must be able to read, write and speak English •Preferred high school diploma or equivalent Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
