Required Skills: •Set-up and execution/operation of pultrusion line, extruders, and supportive equipment for R&D trials •Assist with design and implementation of new equipment •Lead and oversee recording and documenting any relevant processing information during execution of trials •Gathering and blending of all required raw materials for R&D trials •Keep the R&D process and equipment area clean and organized (following 5S protocol) •Operate equipment and process in a safe manner •PM checks and routine maintenance on required equipment •Review and understanding of the policies and procedures contained in standard operating procedures, hazardous communication and waste disposal procedures. Qualifications: •High school diploma or GED required. •Manufacturing experience with thermoplastic processing and Pultrusion preferred. •Basic computer skills - able to work with Excel, Word, Access database. •Hands-on, mechanical, and trouble shooting skills. •Self-motivating, good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, positive can-do attitude.
