Required Skills: •Contribute to the development of innovative medical device products, ensuring compliance with Design Controls, FDA regulations, ISO standards, MDR requirements, and internal quality systems. •Design, build, and evaluate prototypes while developing processes and test methods to support product commercialization and manufacturing scale-up. •Act as the R&D liaison for manufacturing-related initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. •Assess, source, and coordinate materials and components required for prototyping and pilot production activities. •Partner with cross-functional teams to drive product development programs from concept through market launch. •Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design records, protocols, reports, and verification and validation testing results. •Support pilot manufacturing efforts by executing process development and product design activities. •Establish and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality components and services. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of engineering experience. •Medical Device experience is a must have (catheter delivery, or class III implantable highly preferred) •Operational familiarity with the design, development, testing, and material selection of disposable peripheral or coronary medical devices. •Strong knowledge of engineering materials, component selection, design for manufacturability, and product reliability principles. •Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all organizational levels. •Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results independently in a fast-paced environment.
